This sale was a not-for-profit organization becoming a part of a for-profit organization.  In terms of this case study provide the following information:

Summary of the sale of Marquette General Hospital

1) What benefit did Marquette General Hospital get by selling the hospital?  Were there any concerns about this?

2)Why would the purchaser of Marquette General Hospital want to buy the hospital?

3)From a financial perspective do you see this type of sale to a well-known organization happening more in the future why or why not?

Each case study will require a one to two-page paper that summarizes the case and answers the questions which were asked.  Spelling and grammar count as well for these assignments.
